My Women in Tech
Leadership Journey
My career in tech started many years ago when I was an undergraduate student at Purdue studying computer and electrical engineering. At the time, representation for women in engineering was much lower than it is today, and particularly in the computer and electrical engineering discipline. I benefited from many development programs, coaches and mentors along the way enabling me to believe in myself, develop my authentic leadership style, and quite frankly continue my career in the tech industry. Looking back, while I worked in highly technical teams, I never went deep and became a technical expert. Instead I thrived in roles working across teams, connecting people and organizations around the development of technology. Over time, I grew my career and leadership roles in software development, technical program management, operations and chief of staff roles.
Most recently I was the Director, Diversity Equity & Inclusion at Intuit leading the strategy and portfolio of programs to drive increased representation, inclusion and equity in tech, resulting in a >6ppt increase. In this role, I worked with the leadership team and technologists to develop cross-functional programs across Intuit to attract, engage and develop women and underrepresented minorities in technical roles. I proposed, launched and delivered innovative new programs for women and under-represented technologists including Intuit Again, a returnship program, and the Apprenticeship Pathway Program, a software development apprenticeship program resulting in 100+ new hires in technology roles.
At Intuit, I regularly facilitated Leading Inclusively workshops for executive leaders across Intuit, championing an inclusive leadership mindset. I also had the opportunity to serve as the global leader for the Intuit Women’s ERG Network, loving the opportunity to tap into my passion for empowering and advancing women employees and customers around the globe delivering programming and events aligned around our strategic priorities of personal & professional development, building connection and community service.
Before joining Intuit, I paused my corporate tech career to take care of my kids for 5 years. During that time, I co-founded and was the executive director for a non-profit, dedicated to exposing and inspiring girls in STEM at the elementary and middle school level.

Why I Love
Coaching
In my own leadership journey, one constant has been my unwavering dedication to developing people. I believe in the transformative power of unleashing one's unique gifts and talents to deliver meaningful work. Witnessing individuals tap into their strengths, set ambitious goals, and work towards achieving them energizes me.
Coaching people to enable them to realize their full potential is where I find my purpose. There's magic in helping women in tech and leaders identify their strengths, define their career success, and craft actionable plans to achieve it. I thrive on building confidence, guiding individuals to set and surpass goals they once deemed unattainable.
My passion lies in empowering individuals to unlock their potential, chart their paths to success, and thrive in their unique leadership journey. Together, let's harness your strengths, define your goals, and embark on a transformative journey towards realizing your fullest potential in the dynamic world of technology.
